Moores Recycling Sponsor Somer Valley FM
Moores Recycling is delighted to announce that the company is sponsoring Somer Valley community radio station based in Midsomer Norton, Somerset.
Run entirely by volunteers and donations from local businesses, the station is dedicated to providing an informative and entertaining station for the area which includes Radstock, Frome, Shepton Mallet and Midsomer Norton.
The station is driven by a desire to provide an opportunity for as many people as possible to become familiar with the process and technology of radio broadcasting so that they can use it to speak to and interact with others in the local area, to inform, educate and entertain.
To that end, Somer Valley FM offers training and equipment, free of charge, to anyone who asks for it. With three studios and several sets of portable equipment, an outside broadcast facility and experienced staff, almost 200 regular volunteer producers and presenters come together in a programme schedule that will appeal to just about everyone in the area.
